Popular Mechanic’s Top Shop section was the magazine’s biggest, most profitable integrated marketing program. This year’s section showcased the Mustang’s makeover, in the shop and with the finished car in a road trip. Designed custom illustration to transform the look of the gritty auto shop. The excitement of the road trip was conveyed through choices of location, talent, and tone, and further enhanced with the digital options of the ipad section. The digital section started out with a full screen custom video announcing the section.
